The SE 30X Illuminated Jewelers Loupe works great to see the very small and smaller, numbers, letters and the like. The Illumination is a great added option. And it fits nicely in your hand and pocket and it can be stored in the box it came in for safe keeping

The best thing about this is that the LED light is very bright - you could use it as an emergency flashlight if the power goes out.
The worst thing is that it is nowhere near 30x magnification - maybe 10x.
For the price, I guess I'll keep it. I could use a spare.
If you want a lighted 10x magnifier, I'd suggest: SE Illuminated Sliding Pocket Magnifier with LED Light It has a slightly better design and optics.
